I build systems that sense, record, and terminate. Each has rules, material constraints, and a finite lifespan. They run until they can't. The drawings are residue of a process that no longer exists.

Luxembourg has published more than 300,000 companies. About 125,000 exist today. A pen plotter draws them one building at a time, until an address that houses hundreds of companies becomes a single illegible mass of overprinted names, the shape the register's architecture was built to hide.
