The artwork is not the image. The artwork is the system that makes the image possible.
I build systems that sense, record, and terminate. Each has rules, material constraints, and a finite lifespan. They run until they can't. The drawings are residue of a process that no longer exists.

Terminal Gradients
A drawing system with a finite, self-determined lifespan. ERA5 climate reanalysis data progressively replaces the system's compositional logic. The system halts when its own output can no longer be distinguished from the data destroying it.
