Houses on fire. Stock images of domestic catastrophe, redrawn by a machine that treats every pixel as a color problem to be solved in 28 passes of ink.
The plotter does not understand what it draws. It hatches lines according to tonal values, building fire and structure with equal procedural indifference. The violence of the image and the patience of the process exist in the same drawing.
